Photoshop, ZBrush
March 2011

Hey guys and girls, figured I'd share my latest work. Been doing this over the last few days. I started this in zbrush and did a not too detailed model and then did some different lighting passes and material renders using the BPR render in zbrush. Then I comped them together in photoshop and did all the skin detail and eyes and all textures basically. Mostly finding good texture and using overlay mode to get them working together with the underlying layers. I also hand painted bits of it (small details here and there and the saliva). I find it's a great technique for concepting creatures. You can get some pretty sweet results over just a couple of days work (about 3 in this case).
